Born and raised in Nashville, I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors and the land surrounding me that has carried on into my professional life; I even spent a couple of years working as a fly-fishing guide in Aspen, CO. Since then, I’ve had a role in a handful of different industries but most have revolved around sales and business development because I’m passionate about problem-solving in any business situation. In 2010 I founded a company that specialized in reducing indirect expenses for improved EBITDA for any company in any industry, on any scale, local or national.
Throughout the years I’ve been recognized by the Nashville Business Journal on the “40 under 40” list, I received my 333 Exemption from the FAA, allowing me to fly large drones, I founded Setter Point Farm, I invested in numerous commercial properties, and I built several spec houses throughout the southeast.
I currently hold professional licenses in both real estate and commercial insurance for the State of Tennessee so I am able to contribute to the Equitable team in a variety of unique ways, but specializing in investment properties and risk management. Spending virtually my entire life in Nashville, my passion for the outdoors, and my understanding and respect for short and long term goals of investment/development properties also add value to our team.
If I’m not at work at Equitable, I’m with my wife, 4 children, and English Setter, Lilly Mae, usually playing guitar or watching my Dawgs play college football. When I get some time to escape to the great outdoors, you can bet that’ll be spending it fly-fishing or bird-hunting.
