I joined Equitable in order to dive headfirst into Commercial Real Estate and what a place to start. After spending 2 years leading high-school students on academic trips across South America, I moved to Nashville and was ready to settle into a job that mixed my background in marketing with my passion for unique spaces and experiences.
Aside from loving the culture and non-corporate feel at Equitable, I truly believe in Land’s vision in real estate; he allows the Equitable team to work beyond the typical commercial properties or clients and seek out projects that will set us apart from everyone else. I love connecting the dots between people and real estate is the perfect business for that. Whether it is helping a client find the perfect office space or an entrepreneur branching out into something different, real estate, and Equitable specifically, allows me to help others achieve their goals.
As a Millennial, I value experiences over almost everything, making companies like Meow Wolf and E-sports arenas fascinating real estate opportunities and projects. These types of experiences are not as prevalent in Tennessee yet, but I know that they will come in time. Seeing mixed-use developments on the west side of town like Silo Studies, Stocking 51, and Sylvan Supply are just examples of how our city is changing and how commercial real estate is a leader in that change.
I moved to Nashville in 2019 but I grew up in Memphis so I have a great mix of new and old friends here; what better place to live in your 20s. When I’m not working, if I’m not somewhere else in the world SCUBA diving, then I’m hiking, playing golf, or wakeboarding with my two younger brothers. Oh and my dog Griz is always tagging along.
